Think of a reason later Count your blessings Remember that 80 per cent of the success in any job is based on our ability to deal with people Compliment the meal when you're a guest in someone's home Become someone's hero Show respect for everyone who works for a living, regardless of how trivial their job Visit friends and relatives when they are in hospital; you need only stay a few minutes Learn to listen. Opportunity sometimes knocks softly Be kinder than necessary Don't major in minorthings عندما كان ابنه يستعد للانتقال إلى الكلية، أراد جاكسون براون أن يهديه هدية عبارة عن بعض النصائح يكتبها في ٢ إلى ٣ صفحات ولكنه فاجأ نفسه بكتابة أكثر من ١٥٠٠ نصيحة لابنه جمعها لاحقاً في كتاب اسماه "كتاب تعليمات الحياة المصغر" يقول جاكسون: قرأت منذ عدة سنين أن مسؤولية الآباء ليست في تمهيد طريق الأبناء ولكن مسؤوليتهم تقع في إعطاؤهم خريطة تعينهم على سلوك الطريق الصحيح ومن بعض التعليمات التي أعجبتني وأردت نسخها لكم: لا تيأس من أحدهم فالمعجزات قد تحدث كن شجاعاً والا فتظاهر بالشجاعة فلا أحد يستطيع تمييز الفرق لا تحرم أحداً من الأمل فقد يكون هو كل ما يملكه اترك كل شيء أفضل، ولو قليلا، مما وجدته عليه اتصل بوالدتك احتفظ ببعض الأسرار اختر شريك حياتك بعناية ، فـ ٩٠٪ من سعادتك أو شقاؤك في المستقبل يعتمد على هذا القرار اجعل من عادتك القيام بأمور طيبة للناس دون أن يعلموا بذلك كن خاسرا جيدا وكن رابحا جيدا لا تضيع الفرصة في اخبار أحدهم انك تحبه أرسل لأحبتك ورودا وفكر لاحقا في سبب ارسالها احصِ نعم الله عليك تذكر ان ٨٠٪ من نجاحك في مجال عملك يعتمد على تعاملك مع الاخرين امدح الطعام عندما تتناوله في بيوت الاخرين كن بطلاً (قدوة) لأحدهم اظهر احترامك لجميع من يعمل من أجل كسب العيش بغض النظر عن طبيعة عمله زر أصدقاءك وأقرباءك في المستشفى ولا تطل البقاء سوى لبضع دقائق تعلم الإصغاء فأحياناً تطرق الفرصة بابك بهدوء كن ألطف مما يجب لا تعط صغائر الأمور اهتماماً أكبر من حجمها . . .
